DMZ Group is one of Hue City’s long-established enterprises in the fields of tourism, hospitality, food & beverage, and event services. For more than two decades, DMZ Group has welcomed travelers from around the world and contributed to promoting Hue as one of Vietnam’s most attractive destinations.

Founded with a passion for hospitality and tourism, DMZ Group has continuously expanded its portfolio to provide visitors with a diverse range of accommodation, dining, entertainment, and event services. Today, the Group proudly operates a growing ecosystem of restaurants, hotels, hostels, villas, and professional catering services.

The story of DMZ Group began in 2002 with the opening of Little Italy Restaurant, one of the first Italian restaurants in Hue City. Known for its warm hospitality, elegant atmosphere, and authentic Italian cuisine, Little Italy quickly became a favorite destination for both international visitors and local residents.

Following the success of Little Italy, DMZ Bar & Restaurant continued to develop as one of Hue’s most iconic venues for travelers. Located at 60 Le Loi Street in the heart of the city’s tourist district, DMZ Bar offers a vibrant atmosphere where guests can enjoy food, drinks, entertainment, and unforgettable social experiences.

In 2009, DMZ Hotel officially opened at 21 Doi Cung Street, providing comfortable accommodation in the center of Hue. Its convenient location allows guests easy access to historical attractions, shopping areas, restaurants, and local nightlife.

As tourism in Hue continued to grow, DMZ Hostel was established in 2017 to serve backpackers, independent travelers, and young adventurers seeking affordable accommodation in a lively and welcoming environment. Located in the heart of the city’s tourist area, the hostel has become a popular choice among travelers from around the world.

Expanding beyond traditional hospitality services, DMZ Group later introduced Bella House, a charming villa retreat nestled among the peaceful pine-covered hills of Thien An. Offering privacy, comfort, and a close connection to nature, Bella House is an ideal venue for family vacations, private gatherings, and special celebrations.

To meet the increasing demand for professional event services, DMZ Event & Catering was established to provide comprehensive event planning and catering solutions. From corporate meetings and conferences to weddings, private parties, and outdoor events, the team is committed to delivering exceptional service and memorable experiences.

Most recently, Vinh Moc Tunnel Kitchen was added to the DMZ Group family. Inspired by the rich history and culinary heritage of Central Vietnam, the restaurant offers authentic Vietnamese and Hue cuisine while introducing visitors to meaningful stories of the region’s culture and history.

ABOUT LE XUAN PHUONG

Behind the success of DMZ Group is its founder, Mr. Le Xuan Phuong.

Mr. Phuong was born in a poor and remote village in Quang Tri Province, a land that experienced many hardships throughout Vietnam’s history. Growing up in a humble family, he understood from an early age the value of hard work, perseverance, and determination.

After leaving his hometown, he moved to Hue to study at Hue University of Foreign Languages. Like many young students pursuing their dreams, he began his journey with very little in hand. During his university years, he worked as a receptionist and tour guide, meeting travelers from all over the world and gaining valuable insights into tourism and hospitality.

These experiences inspired him to pursue a career in tourism. After graduation, he worked for a state-owned company before deciding to follow his own path. With limited resources but an ambitious vision, he entered the tourism industry and began building his future from the ground up.

Through self-learning, dedication, and practical experience, Mr. Phuong gradually developed his knowledge of business and tourism management. His determination and entrepreneurial spirit enabled him to transform challenges into opportunities and steadily grow his business.

Throughout his journey, Mr. Phuong has remained committed not only to business development but also to promoting the beauty, culture, and hospitality of Hue, Quang Tri, and Vietnam to international visitors. His vision continues to guide DMZ Group as it grows and welcomes guests from around the world.

The story of DMZ Group is, above all, a story of perseverance, passion, and the belief that great achievements can begin from the most humble beginnings.
